Domácí úkol

Nebojte se, nezačala jsem psát v angličtině, ale dostali jsme domácí úkol psát si od soboty do čtvrtka blog, takže další příspěvek už zase bude v češtině.

Saturday

I looked for a car with my boyfriend in the internet. We liked Renault Clio and Citroen Saxo, good price and a good state of vehicle. But we have a small problem with insurance companies. Some companies are too expensive and smaller companies do not want to insure us, because we have not driven a car in Ireland yet. But I hope that we will find a good insurance company next week.

For the first time I was in Epicure Foodhall. It is a very interesting place for eating because we can taste different cuisine from all over the world like Chinese, Irish, Thai, Greek, Italian etc. I liked the most “All you can eat” menu. You take a plate for about ten euro and you can put on it anything you want.

I watched the movie Braveheart in English with English subtitles in the evening.

Sunday

I went to Jameson Distillery with my boyfriend. It is near my flat, only about 10 minutes walk. On the way we saw the traditional horse market in Smithfield. It was strange to see many horses in the centre of Dublin. During our guide tour in Jameson Distillery I learned how irish whiskey is made, only from water, barley and yeast. It is a long process of three distillations. American whiskey is made by using only one distillation and Scotch whiskey by using two.

I and Angela were invited to Cristina’s house in the afternoon and we cooked food typical for our countries. It was a nice day for my stomach. I made schnitzel and mashed potatoes with onion.

In the evening I studied English, I made my homework and tried hard to remember new vocabulary.

Monday

After my language school finished, I met my friend Tatsiana in St. Stephen’s Green park. I know my friend from Arena language school. We walked, it was very nice sunny weather. I cooked a dinner for me and my boyfriend at home. I prepared pasta au gratin with chicken, ham and mushrooms. I learned new vocabulary related to health.

Tuesday

I was in the language school in the morning and when I came home, I did my homework. I went dancing Salsa with my boyfriend in the evening and then we went to the Czech pub “Pifko”.

Wednesday

After school I took out a suit in a dry cleaners and I bought some food. I watched English TV in the afternoon and then I wrote a blog post in Czech for my family and Czech friends.

Thursday

I tried to find another shorter way from my home to school but I lost my way and came late to school. After school I studied English for Friday’s test, I stretched my body with Hanka Kynychova (she is a trainer of aerobic and she made a film for excercise).
